New song for new commercial
I was asked by Mandemakers Kitchens to compose a song especially for their new 'Hart Van Je Huis' campagne. So here it is: 'A Place To Be With You', also featuring Mickey Smid (mix), Joost van Dijck (guitars and drums), Willem van der Weide (violin) and Florien Hamer (cello).  For almost 9 months I've been writing weekly blogs about the psychology
side of a musician's life. I'm gonna call it a day for now online,
but... you can still read new columns on paper, because they granted me a
monthly column at Music Maker magazine. So I'll keep writing, you can keep on reading.

 Het
einde van het jaar is een tijd van balans opmaken. Even stilstaan bij
je leven en denken: waar ben ik nou eigenlijk mee bezig? En na bijna
een kwart eeuw muziek maken en 37 psychologische blogs daarover heb
ik momenteel last van een gigantische aanval van filosofisch
overpeinzen. Zoveel relaties heb ik op de klippen laten lopen voor
mijn muze, zoveel vakanties en verstandige carrièrekansen laten
schieten zonder dat ik ooit rijk of beroemd ben geworden. Ik kan de
gedachte niet loslaten: WAAROM DOE IK DIT?
